Chauffeur Service Burgess Hill
Almost exactly halfway between Gatwick and the sea, Burgess Hill enjoys a rare piece of good fortune, and the South Downs rise only a few fields away to the south.
Quoted individually. Give us the outline and a written price comes back to you: no rate card, no obligation whatsoever.
Mid Sussex at its most practical. The town grew up with the Brighton main line, carries modern business parks along its edges, and keeps the older villages of Ditchling, Hurstpierpoint and Cuckfield a few minutes off in every direction. Passengers here are commuters swapping an early train for a quiet car, families bound for Gatwick, and visitors staying at the country houses and wedding venues scattered down the lanes towards Ardingly and Wivelsfield.
Local life turns on the station, whose approach roads clog at commuter hours, so we agree a meeting point well clear of the drop off loop. Pedestrianisation in the town centre and around the market square means the car waits on one of the surrounding streets rather than at a shop door. Past the town, addresses turn rural in a hurry, and the lanes towards Ditchling Common and Ansty run narrow between high hedges, where a description of the gate counts for more than the name of the house.
Gatwick really is close by, twenty five to forty five minutes as a rule, up the A2300 and A23. Heathrow asks for an hour and a half or thereabouts on the M23 and M25. For central London by road, allow an hour and twenty to two hours, though plenty of guests take the fast train and hold the car for the Sussex end. Brighton lies twenty minutes south, Glyndebourne half an hour east, and the Ardingly showground fifteen minutes north.

Local Knowledge
A short piece of dual carriageway, the A2300, links Burgess Hill to the A23, and that is why Gatwick feels so near. Its roundabout at the A23 loads through the peaks, then loads again whenever trouble on the motorway pushes traffic down through Bolney. Southbound towards Brighton, the A23 grows heavy on summer weekends. Over the Downs the A273 and B2036 through Hassocks and Clayton make the prettier journey, but they are slow and narrow, and best left alone when a flight is in play.
North of the town, the South of England show at Ardingly and the antiques fairs held on the same ground fill the lanes for whole days together, with single track approaches in places. Ditchling Beacon and the Jack and Jill windmills pull walkers and cyclists onto a steep, narrow road that we would sooner not take a large car up on a Sunday. Weddings at the Sussex barns and country houses nearby get the final stretch driven in advance wherever the entrance is unlit.
Why Luxury Chauffeurs
01
Load the luggage once. That same vehicle then stays with you the whole way, from a London doorstep to a village hotel at the far end of the country.
02
Down a lane, across gravel, up to a gatehouse: that closing stretch of a journey happens to be precisely the part public transport cannot manage at all.
03
We price a regional journey whole, return leg and any waiting included, which leaves nothing at all to be worked out once you reach the far end.
04
Each place here gets its own page: what a chauffeur genuinely does on the ground, honest road timings, and where the car can wait once you arrive.

Four Steps
Chauffeur booking with us is a conversation rather than a checkout. Every journey is priced individually.
01
Message us on WhatsApp with your date, the addresses and roughly how the day looks, or fill in the journey planner instead. Nothing is owed either way, and getting a price asks for no card details at all.
02
Back comes a written quotation setting out the vehicle, the timings and everything included. No estimate that shifts afterwards, and no surge pricing.
03
Once you confirm, your date has a vehicle against it and a named professional chauffeur, with the terms set down in writing.
04
Your chauffeur is briefed beforehand on the route, the access and where the waiting happens, so nothing gets decided at the kerb.
Included as Standard
Quoted as one price. No hidden extras added at the end of the journey.

Corporate & Business
Outside London, business travel is where the road wins hands down. A site in an industrial park. A client on a business park hanging off a motorway junction. Two offices in two different cities on one day. Not one of those sits near a station, and every one of them is straightforward by car. What happens on the drive between them is preparation, rather than an interval spent waiting about for a connection.
Administratively, nationwide chauffeur work is easier to keep hold of. Across a two-day itinerary you have one booking, one written quotation and one chauffeur, in place of a tangle of tickets, transfers and receipts. When a team travels together the conversation carries on inside the car, and that often turns out to be the most productive hour of the trip, the one nobody thought to plan. Accounts can be set up for regular regional travel.
Who We Drive
Couples bound for a spa town, a country house or a coastal hotel, who would far rather have the break start at their own front door.
Directors calling on offices, sites and plants out in cities where a hire car plus an unfamiliar ring road would swallow most of the morning.
Christenings, graduations, anniversaries held in the part of the country everybody left, reached without three changes and a rural taxi waiting at the end.
Visitors keen to see Britain itself instead of the inside of terminals, and who put a value on one arrangement spanning several counties.
Events & Occasions
Of every journey there is, a country wedding repays a chauffeur most. The venue sits at the end of a lane. Parking is a field. The reception runs late, and by midnight the drive home is the last thing anybody wants in their head. Book it properly and the car waits exactly where you agreed it would, leaving one decision only: which of you falls asleep first.
Leisure travel gains something else again. Give a weekend in a spa town, a college city or a stretch of coastline a route that belongs to you, and it improves at once. A detour to some church one of you read about. A long lunch nobody has to abandon for a train. An afternoon stretched out because the weather turned generous. The car waits through all of it, and the day holds its own shape.

Airport Transfers
Around 25 minutes to 45 minutes, with traffic the deciding factor
Inside the terminal, a name board goes up and your chauffeur waits with it, then carries the bags to the car. Give us a flight number and the collection is planned around the published schedule and how long clearing normally takes. Departures run the other way. We start at the check-in you want to make and count backwards, leaving room for the road and the hour of day.

Timing & Availability
On a long journey, Britain's weather does more damage than its traffic ever will. Winter afternoons close in early, and that matters a great deal when the final leg is a single-track road. Highland and moorland routes can run substantially longer than any summer estimate suggests. Those allowances go into the timings from the start, rather than being discovered together halfway up a glen. Where a departure hour makes the schedule uncomfortable, we propose a better one.
Demand tracks the calendar closely. Bank holiday weekends fill fast, so do the weeks either side of Christmas, the summer wedding season and those university terms that all begin and end together. The further from London a journey runs, the sooner a car wants committing to it. Midweek travel in the shoulder months, by contrast, is the easiest thing in the world to arrange.
Professional Chauffeur Standards
What a premium chauffeur service should mean in practice, rather than in a brochure.
Before anyone drives for us they are licensed, insured and vetted. Ahead of the day your chauffeur reads the journey through, and turns up dressed for the occasion.
No branding appears on the cars. Your chauffeur speaks when spoken to, and whatever gets said behind the front seats goes no further.
Cars of the current generation, valeted ahead of each journey, still water and charging in the rear compartment.
One person takes your enquiry, writes the quotation and sees the booking through, so you never explain anything twice.
