Inside, individual leather armchairs face each other across a folding table, so a family travelling together can actually sit together and a working group can hold a meeting between Heathrow and the City. A flat floor and sliding doors make getting in and out effortless — a real consideration in heels, in a suit, or with a child in your arms.
Luggage capacity is the headline. Six passengers with a large case each fit without needing a second vehicle, which almost always makes the V-Class the more economical choice for group airport travel as well as the more comfortable one.
It is also our recommended car for anyone with mobility considerations: the step-in height is low, the door apertures are wide, and there is space to travel with a folded wheelchair or walking aids without dismantling the luggage plan.

Why Luxury Chauffeurs
Why Clients Choose the Mercedes-Benz V-Class
01
One vehicle, one bill
Six travelling together in a single car beats two saloons on cost, on coordination and on the simple pleasure of everybody arriving at the same moment.
02
Nobody sits squashed
The middle seat problem disappears entirely. Every passenger gets their own armrests, their own space and their own view, which changes a long transfer completely.
03
Kit travels properly
Cameras, samples, exhibition materials, instruments and sports equipment go in as they are, rather than being repacked to suit somebody else's boot.
04
Straightforward to board
For older relatives, small children and anyone in formal dress, stepping in at floor level rather than lowering into a saloon is a real relief.
Choosing This Car
What an MPV really solves
Compare it against the obvious alternative, which is two E-Class saloons, and the MPV usually wins on every measure except one. Two cars cost more, need two chauffeurs, and reliably arrive several minutes apart because traffic separates them. The single exception is presentation. If your group is arriving at a formal event where the photograph matters, a pair of saloons or a single flagship reads differently, and we would rather point that out beforehand than after.
The six-cases-and-six-bags figure is real, but read it as a package rather than a promise for any load. It assumes conventional suitcases in the space behind the rear row and the seats in their standard positions. Golf bags, ski equipment, flight cases and rigid instrument cases change the geometry, and the honest fix is often to reduce the seat count by one and gain a great deal of floor. Send us the actual list and we will confirm the configuration.
Two practical points that catch people out. Height comes first: this is a taller vehicle than the barriers on some older multi-storey and hotel underground car parks permit, so we check the access before the day rather than discovering it at the entrance. Second, the sliding doors need a clear stretch of kerb to deploy safely, which occasionally means collecting from the end of a narrow terraced street rather than directly outside the front door.

How Booking Works
Chauffeur booking with us is a conversation rather than a checkout. Every journey is priced individually.
01
Tell us the journey
Send the date, the addresses and the shape of the day on WhatsApp, or use the journey planner. There is no obligation and no card details are taken to get a price.
02
We quote in writing
You receive a written quotation covering the vehicle, the timings and everything included — no estimates that move later, and no surge pricing.
03
The car is held
On confirmation a vehicle and a named professional chauffeur are assigned to your date, and the terms are put in writing.
04
Your chauffeur arrives
Briefed on the route, the access and the waiting arrangements before the day, so nothing is decided at the kerb.

Corporate & Business
Teams, roadshows and site visits
When a deal team, an audit crew or a delegation moves as a unit, this Mercedes V Class chauffeur booking becomes the meeting room between meetings. Facing seats and a table mean the briefing that would otherwise happen in a lobby happens on the way, and everybody arrives having heard the same thing. For investor roadshows it also removes the risk of the second car being caught in traffic the first one missed.
It is equally the right vehicle for site visits, factory tours and inspections, where the destination has no taxi rank and the group needs to stay together all day. Your chauffeur waits on site rather than leaving and returning, so an overrunning tour costs nothing more than time. Corporate accounts can be arranged so that no individual traveller is ever asked to pay.
Who We Drive
Who Books the Mercedes-Benz V-Class
Families on the move
Parents with children, car seats, a pushchair and a fortnight of luggage, for whom the alternative was two vehicles and a lot of negotiation.
Production and crew
Film, television and photographic teams moving people and equipment between locations, where the kit list matters as much as the passenger count.
Touring musicians and speakers
Performers and conference speakers travelling with instruments, staging or merchandise between UK cities, usually to a schedule with no slack in it.
Multi-generational groups
Families travelling to a wedding or a milestone birthday together, spanning three generations and every combination of mobility and luggage imaginable.
Events & Occasions
Groups, weddings and getaways
Around a wedding, this is the workhorse that makes the day possible. Bridesmaids with dresses and shoe changes, grandparents who cannot manage a low seat, the entire hen party from hotel to venue and safely back again at two in the morning. Nobody drives, nobody drinks orange juice all night, and nobody is left waiting for a taxi that is not coming.
For leisure it comes into its own on the long ones: ski transfers with boot bags, golf trips where four sets of clubs is the starting point, a family run to a Cornish cottage, or a day of vineyard and distillery visits. Because the luggage genuinely fits, nobody spends the journey with a holdall between their knees or a coat on their lap.

Timing & Availability
Group travel lead times
Weekday availability is generally good at a few days of notice, but weekends behave differently because groups travel when everybody else is free. Saturdays through the summer, the school holiday changeover days at the end of July and August, and half-term Fridays are the pressure points. When a group flight is involved, book as soon as the flight is, since one vehicle serves the whole party and there is no partial solution.
Ski season transfers and the Christmas fortnight are worth confirming months rather than weeks ahead. If your load includes equipment, tell us at enquiry so the seat and luggage configuration is agreed before we quote. Specification varies between our own vehicles and those of the vetted operators we work with, so the layout, colour and trim are always subject to availability and confirmation.
Professional Chauffeur Standards
The Standard We Hold
What a premium chauffeur service should mean in practice, rather than in a brochure.
Vetted professional chauffeurs
Every chauffeur is licensed, insured and vetted before they drive for us. They are briefed on your journey in advance and dressed for the occasion.
Discretion by default
Vehicles carry no branding. Your chauffeur speaks when spoken to, and what is discussed in the back of the car stays there.
Immaculate vehicles
Current-generation cars, valeted before every journey, with still water and charging in the rear compartment.
One point of contact
The same person handles your enquiry, your quotation and your booking, so nothing is explained twice.

Where We Travel
Nationwide Chauffeur Service
London is where most of our work begins, but a chauffeur can be arranged to and from any address in the United Kingdom.
