One Chauffeur, One Whole Day, Wherever It Takes You

Eight to ten hours from your first collection is the usual span of a full day, and how you fill it is your business entirely. One client runs six meetings inside a single city. Another drives out to a country house for lunch, winds back through the villages by the long way, and finishes at a restaurant. Your chauffeur stays with you the whole time, and the route gets built that morning rather than assumed weeks ahead.

Look at the numbers and they usually favour the day rate. Four separate transfers over one day, each carrying its own waiting and each priced on its own, generally comes out above a single full-day booking while giving you far less room to move. Past three stops, a day rate stops being the indulgent choice and becomes the obvious one.

When you are not travelling, your chauffeur's time is his own. He will pick somewhere sensible to hold, take his legal break while you sit at lunch, and be at the door a few minutes after your message. Managing him is not your job, and you never have to feel he is hanging about waiting on you, which turns out to be a surprisingly large share of the comfort here.

Long distances, very early starts, late finishes: each of those brings driving-hours limits, and we explain them honestly when we quote. Where a schedule truly goes past what one chauffeur can safely cover, our answer is to propose a second rather than stretch the first. This is one of the few points where we will push back on your plan. Far better to do that in writing beforehand than at ten in the evening with everyone tired.
