Full-Day Hire
Reserving a chauffeur for the whole day removes the single most tiring part of travelling: deciding how you will get to the next place.
Quoted individually. Share the outline and we reply with a written price — no rate card, no obligation.
A full day typically runs eight to ten hours from your first collection, and the shape of it is entirely yours. Some clients use it for six meetings in one city. Others drive out to a country house for lunch, take a long route back through the villages and finish at a restaurant. The chauffeur stays with you throughout and the route is built in the morning rather than assumed weeks earlier.
The economics are usually better than they look. Four separate transfers across a single day, each with its own waiting and each priced individually, tends to cost more than one full-day booking and delivers far less flexibility. Anything beyond three stops is generally where a day rate becomes the obvious answer rather than the indulgent one.
Your chauffeur is on his own time when you are not travelling. He will find somewhere sensible to hold, take his legal break while you are at lunch, and be at the door within a few minutes of your message. You do not need to manage him or feel that he is waiting on you, which is a surprisingly large part of the comfort of the thing.
Days that spread across long distances, very early starts or late finishes come with driving-hours limits we will explain honestly at the quotation stage. Where the schedule genuinely exceeds what one chauffeur can safely cover, we will propose a second rather than stretch the first. It is one of the few places where we will push back on a plan, and we would rather do that in writing beforehand than at ten in the evening when everyone is tired.

Why Luxury Chauffeurs
01
We plan the day as a loop rather than a list, so the driving falls between the things you want to do instead of doubling back across a county.
02
One conversation covers the whole day, so an added stop at three in the afternoon is a sentence rather than a new booking with a new price attached.
03
If you want a lunch that is genuinely worth stopping for, or a view that is better in the afternoon light, ask your chauffeur. Most have opinions worth hearing.
04
A saloon is right for a city day, and an estate or a Range Rover is right for gravel drives, wet fields and a boot that has to take everything.
At a Glance
A standard day runs from your first collection, with additional hours quoted before you commit to anything.
Beyond three stops a day rate usually costs less than separate bookings and gives far more freedom.
Your chauffeur takes his legal rest while you are occupied and returns to the door on your message.
Local Knowledge
The single most useful thing you can do is decide where the day ends. A day that starts and finishes in London is straightforward. A day that starts in London and finishes in Yorkshire means the chauffeur and the car have to get home afterwards, and that is reflected in the quotation. Neither is wrong, but knowing which shape you want changes what we recommend and what it costs.
The other common misjudgement is fitting too much in. Three good stops make a lovely day; six make a coach tour. Country roads are slower than the map suggests, parking at popular houses and gardens takes longer than expected, and lunch somewhere worth eating is rarely an hour. We would rather cut one destination at the planning stage than watch a beautiful day turn into a series of hurried arrivals.
A few practicalities save a great deal of trouble. Book your own table and any timed entry tickets yourself, and send us the times: we will build the driving around them. Tell us if anywhere on the list has a private drive, a gatehouse or a booking reference for vehicle access. And bring a coat you can leave in the car, because a day that includes a windswept viewpoint and a warm dining room asks two different things of you.

Four Steps
Chauffeur booking with us is a conversation rather than a checkout. Every journey is priced individually.
01
Send the date, the addresses and the shape of the day on WhatsApp, or use the journey planner. There is no obligation and no card details are taken to get a price.
02
You receive a written quotation covering the vehicle, the timings and everything included — no estimates that move later, and no surge pricing.
03
On confirmation a vehicle and a named professional chauffeur are assigned to your date, and the terms are put in writing.
04
Briefed on the route, the access and the waiting arrangements before the day, so nothing is decided at the kerb.
Included as Standard
Quoted as one price. No hidden extras added at the end of the journey.

Corporate & Business
A day booking is the natural answer to a working day that will not sit still. Site visits across a region, a due diligence tour, an investor being shown four locations, a filming day with equipment that has to travel: all of them involve waiting, changes of plan and a boot that needs to stay packed. None of them fit comfortably into a series of separate journeys arranged in advance.
Where a visit runs over several days, the same chauffeur and vehicle can be held for the whole trip, including the evenings. That continuity is worth a surprising amount: nobody re-explains the plan each morning, the car already knows where the difficult entrance is, and a guest who is being hosted meets one person rather than four. Documentation for the whole period is issued together rather than day by day.
Who We Drive
Travellers with three days in Britain and a long list, who want the countryside, a castle and a decent lunch without hiring a car themselves.
Groups spanning three generations, where the pace has to suit everyone and somebody always needs to sit down twenty minutes before the others do.
Buyers spending a day looking at properties across a county, with an agent to collect, a lunch in between and no wish to navigate lanes themselves.
Anniversaries, significant birthdays and days planned as a surprise, where the point is that nobody in the party has to organise anything once it begins.
Events & Occasions
Some of the best days we arrange have no fixed purpose at all. A drive through the Cotswolds with lunch at a pub somebody recommended, a return to a village a family left forty years ago, a slow route home from an airport by way of a cathedral. Because the car is yours until evening, none of it has to be decided before you set off.
The structured days work equally well. Race meetings where the car park is half a mile from the enclosure, a wedding where the couple need moving three times, a shooting day, a golf day, a school open morning followed by lunch two counties away. In each case the value is the same: the car is close, the boot holds everything, and nobody spends the drive home concentrating instead of talking.

Airports
Met in arrivals with a name board, luggage carried, and departures planned around your check-in.
Popular Journeys
Quoted door to door as a single movement, including the return leg and any waiting in between.
Timing & Availability
Full days go earlier than transfers, because there are only so many of them in a week and each one commits a chauffeur for the whole of it. Weekends from May to September want two to three weeks' notice, more if you have a particular vehicle in mind. Weekdays outside the summer are much easier, and a midweek day in February can often be arranged with a few days' notice.
Season matters for the day itself as well as for availability. Winter days are short, and a route that is glorious in June is largely dark by four o'clock in December, which is worth building into the plan rather than discovering. Country houses, gardens and many rural restaurants close or reduce their hours out of season. We will check opening times for the places on your list before the day is confirmed.
Professional Chauffeur Standards
What a premium chauffeur service should mean in practice, rather than in a brochure.
Every chauffeur is licensed, insured and vetted before they drive for us. They are briefed on your journey in advance and dressed for the occasion.
Vehicles carry no branding. Your chauffeur speaks when spoken to, and what is discussed in the back of the car stays there.
Current-generation cars, valeted before every journey, with still water and charging in the rear compartment.
The same person handles your enquiry, your quotation and your booking, so nothing is explained twice.

Where We Travel
London is where most of our work begins, but a chauffeur can be arranged to and from any address in the United Kingdom.
