Private Aviation
Luton handles far more private aviation than most people realise, and its private terminals are nowhere near the one on the signs.
Quoted individually. Share the outline and we reply with a written price — no rate card, no obligation.
Luton sits north of London in Bedfordshire and combines a busy scheduled airport with one of the heaviest concentrations of business aviation in the country. Its private traffic runs from small jets on European hops to larger aircraft heading much further, and the passenger mix reflects that: corporate groups, touring parties, families and a good deal of short-notice charter. The private terminals operate separately from the main passenger building, with their own entrances.
Knowing which entrance is most of the job. A car sent to the main terminal is in the wrong place, and the difference is a frustrating loop of one-way roads. Tell us which handling agent your operator has appointed and your chauffeur goes directly to the right gate, meets you inside the building where that is permitted, and moves your luggage once. We work from the times your operator gives you and make no claim to track flights.
The approach is from the M1 at junction 10 and then the A1081 towards the airport, and the M1 is the variable. Outside the peaks an hour from central London is realistic; in the Friday evening or Monday morning flow, or when the M25 anticlockwise is troubled, considerably more. From north London and Hertfordshire it is a short run. We would rather leave twenty minutes early than explain a delay from the hard shoulder.
From Luton, onward journeys most often head into central London, out to Oxford and the Cotswolds, or north up the M1 towards the Midlands. Groups arriving together are better handled with a V-Class for people and luggage than a string of saloons, and larger parties travel in convoy on matched timings. Crew vehicles are booked alongside. We hold no affiliation with the airport or any terminal operator and act purely as an independent chauffeur service.

Why Luxury Chauffeurs
01
Bedfordshire has more than one way in, and the private entrances are not the ones the signs advertise. We go to the address your handler names, not the airport's.
02
A charter party with cases is not four saloons. Our own cars and a vetted network of professional operators let us match the vehicle to the bag count.
03
Departures here rarely respect office hours. A pre-dawn collection is agreed the night before and confirmed in writing, so nobody is making calls at five in the morning.
04
No affiliation with the airport, its terminal operators or any handling agent is claimed or implied. What we provide is the road journey, planned properly and quoted in writing.
At a Glance
Private terminals sit apart from the main building, and we go to the one your handler names.
An hour outside the peaks, and a plan that assumes the motorway will not always cooperate.
A V-Class moves a charter group and its bags in one vehicle rather than three.
Local Knowledge
The single most useful thing to understand here is that the private side operates apart from the scheduled one, with its own entrances and its own roads in. A car sent to the main passenger terminal is not merely inconvenienced; it is on the wrong side of a one-way system with no quick way across. Business aviation also lacks the buffers that make a commercial arrival forgiving, which is why we treat the address as the first detail of a booking rather than the last.
Your operator appoints a handling agent, and the agent is who confirms the practical things: the entrance in use, where a vehicle may wait, whether a chauffeur may come inside, and how a passenger is met. Those arrangements are not identical from one private terminal to the next, and they are revised from time to time, so we ask on every booking rather than trusting last month's answer. The window itself is short by design, because the walk from car to aircraft takes a minute or two.
We plan to the handling time rather than the departure time. A flight plan tells you when the aircraft leaves; the handling time tells us when you are expected at the door, and only the second is useful for a road journey. Aircraft tracking is not something we offer, so the details you share let us plan around the schedule you have been given. Whatever the agent permits on the day is exactly what we work to, and nothing beyond it.

Four Steps
Chauffeur booking with us is a conversation rather than a checkout. Every journey is priced individually.
01
Send the date, the addresses and the shape of the day on WhatsApp, or use the journey planner. There is no obligation and no card details are taken to get a price.
02
You receive a written quotation covering the vehicle, the timings and everything included — no estimates that move later, and no surge pricing.
03
On confirmation a vehicle and a named professional chauffeur are assigned to your date, and the terms are put in writing.
04
Briefed on the route, the access and the waiting arrangements before the day, so nothing is decided at the kerb.
Included as Standard

Corporate & Business
A great deal of the private traffic here is corporate and repeats: the same route, the same team, a different week. We keep the detail on file so that a repeat booking becomes a date rather than a fresh briefing, and accounts can be arranged so that individual travellers never present a card at the end of a very long day.
When a group travels, two or three vehicles moving in convoy is calmer than one large one and quicker than several arriving separately. The chauffeurs stay in contact, one person co-ordinates, and everybody leaves the terminal together. Crew cars run on their own timings alongside, because duty hours and passenger schedules almost never line up neatly with one another.
Who We Drive
Teams travelling together for a site visit or a negotiation, arriving on one aircraft and needing to leave the terminal as a single, orderly movement.
Musicians, production crews and sporting groups whose equipment cases matter as much as their passengers, and whose schedules shift more often than most.
Residents for whom this is genuinely the local option, twenty minutes from the door rather than an hour and a half across the whole capital.
Flight crew positioning to and from hotels, often at hours when very little else is moving, on a timing entirely separate from the passengers.
Events & Occasions
Not all of it is business. Families fly out from here in the school holidays with a hold's worth of luggage, and touring parties arrive with cases that are nobody's idea of hand baggage. We would rather be told the honest bag count and send a larger vehicle than watch a boot lid refuse to close in a terminal car park.
Onward, the natural runs are into central London, west towards Oxford and the Cotswolds, and north up the M1 to the Midlands. Country house arrivals, weddings and race meetings are frequent enough that we plan them as journeys rather than transfers, with the car staying with you throughout rather than leaving and being called back.

Airports

Popular Journeys
Quoted door to door as a single movement, including the return leg and any waiting in between.
Timing & Availability
Slots here move for the same reasons they move everywhere: weather at the far end, a late inbound aircraft, a passenger who is not yet in the country. None of it requires a new booking. Your car is held for you, and a message carrying the revised handling time is enough to reset the collection, whether that turns out to be two hours later or two hours earlier.
We take short-notice work regularly and often on the same day, though the choice of vehicle narrows as the notice shortens. Holiday weekends, half terms and the days either side of a bank holiday go early. Ask by WhatsApp or email with the date and an outline of the movement, and we will tell you plainly what can be done.
Professional Chauffeur Standards
What a premium chauffeur service should mean in practice, rather than in a brochure.
Every chauffeur is licensed, insured and vetted before they drive for us. They are briefed on your journey in advance and dressed for the occasion.
Vehicles carry no branding. Your chauffeur speaks when spoken to, and what is discussed in the back of the car stays there.
Current-generation cars, valeted before every journey, with still water and charging in the rear compartment.
The same person handles your enquiry, your quotation and your booking, so nothing is explained twice.

Where We Travel
London is where most of our work begins, but a chauffeur can be arranged to and from any address in the United Kingdom.
Who we travel with
We are an independent chauffeur service. We hold no official partnership with any airport, terminal operator or fixed base operator. Share your flight number and we will plan your pickup around the published schedule and typical clearance times.
