The shape of it is simple enough. We meet you at the airport on the day you land, keep the car for the days you are here, then take you back out for your flight home. Between those points, the chauffeur is there for whatever the stay throws up: dinner across town, a meeting in the City, an afternoon in Knightsbridge, a day out to Windsor. It all sits under one arrangement.
Booking each journey on its own means explaining yourself repeatedly; this way, nothing gets explained twice. Your chauffeur already knows which hotel entrance to use, where a car can sit without blocking the forecourt, that you are reliably ten minutes behind your own plan in the mornings, and that Thursday's restaurant is awkward to reach by the obvious route.
Luxury Chauffeurs is independent and holds no partnership with any hotel, which is why the chauffeur works for you and not for a house arrangement. Where your concierge is coordinating on your behalf, we will gladly take instructions from them and keep them updated. Dealing with you directly by message suits us just as well.
Most bookings are built as hourly blocks on the days you want the car, or as full days where the schedule is packed. Send your dates, the hotel and a rough sense of the week over WhatsApp, and we will put forward whichever arrangement costs least for what you genuinely plan to do. Still working out the week? Structuring a car around your stay
Most stays take one of two shapes. Hourly blocks are taken on whichever days you want the car, with a minimum of a few hours at a time, and they suit a visit built around two or three fixed commitments daily. A full day holds car and chauffeur from morning until you release him, which works out better once you go past three or four movements. Airport arrival and departure fit inside either shape, priced as transfers at each end.
Booking too little and then extending piece by piece is the usual misjudgement; it costs more than taking the block outright, and it risks the car being committed somewhere else. Not saying that the week is unsettled comes second. An outline will do to begin with, and holding hours then releasing them is far easier for us than conjuring a car at nine on a Wednesday evening. Hotel forecourts, too, are more restricted than they appear, so where a car may not stand we settle on an alternative point during the first day.
The arrival transfer generally opens a stay, and that is when the practical points get settled: which door suits you, where the car will wait, how much time the mornings genuinely need. Every block afterwards runs to the same pattern. Your chauffeur is at the entrance a few minutes early, stays with the car between stops, and is released when the block finishes rather than sitting on a meter. Come departure day, the luggage goes into the boot after breakfast and the remaining hours belong to you.

Timing & Availability
The London hotel calendar
Holding a car is hardest when the city is full: the weeks of the big trade fairs and conferences, the summer months when family visitors descend, and the run from late November through to Christmas. Should your stay land in one of those, reserve the car at the same time as the room, even with the week's schedule still unwritten.
Away from those periods a few days of notice sits comfortably, and adding an evening onto an existing booking can often happen the same day. Very early departures and late arrivals are routine here; telling us is the whole of the arrangement. Should the stay extend, we would rather hear about it as soon as you know, since keeping the same chauffeur is much easier than finding him a second time.

How much you move about decides it. Three or more journeys in a day generally favours a block booking, whereas two airport transfers plus one dinner might be better taken separately. We will say which fits you.
