Set a well-specified saloon's rear compartment against most airport lounges and the car wins as an office. Acoustic glazing holds a conference call intelligible at motorway speed. Send the day exactly as your diary shows it, appointments we are not driving you to included. A conference call at eleven alters where the car should be sitting at ten forty-five; a lunch you intend to linger over alters the entire afternoon. Addresses on their own give us half a picture. The thing we are actually building is a sequence of gaps, and gaps are where a working day is won or lost.
Corporate addresses are often the hardest part of all. Business parks come with barriers, City buildings have no kerb whatsoever, and industrial sites want a vehicle registration submitted a day beforehand. Pass us the site contact, any visitor reference and the entrance you genuinely use, and whatever needs submitting gets submitted. Where a building truly has nowhere to stop, you will hear that at the planning stage, and a drop point a short walk away is agreed rather than improvised on the day.
Long executive days bump into legal driving-hours limits, and knowing that in advance beats discovering it at nine in the evening. A six o'clock collection in London, a full day in Manchester, then a return the same night sits close to the edge for one chauffeur. Should it go beyond what can safely be covered, we put forward a second chauffeur, an overnight for the first, or a different shape for the day altogether. Losing the booking suits us better than running it badly.

Booking around the diary
A business day is usually visible a week or two out, which gives comfortable lead time and lets us hold the vehicle you want. Same-week requests are routine enough. Awkward ones turn up at four in the afternoon for seven the following morning, and even those often come off in London. Six o'clock starts from smaller towns are the genuinely hard ones to place.
Crushes of its own belong to the business calendar. Results seasons, major trade fairs and conference weeks strip available vehicles out of whichever city they land on, while the fortnights before Easter and Christmas squeeze a month of meetings into half the days. If your schedule takes in an event thousands of other people are attending too, reserve the car before booking anything else. Of the whole arrangement, that is the part with the least elasticity in it.

Yes. Insulation in the rear compartment does much of it, your chauffeur is well practised at working without listening, and certain vehicles carry a partition. Request one at the enquiry stage and we will confirm what can be had on your date.
Onboard connectivity exists in some vehicles, though relying on it is not something we would advise. Along the routes we run, mobile signal holds up well, so for anything critical, tether to your own phone.
Send your chauffeur a message and he is at the door within a few minutes. With a full-day or hourly booking the car sits close by anyway, which means finishing early hands the time straight back to you rather than leaving you standing about.
