This is the arrangement for people who travel often on a broadly repeating pattern. School in the morning, an office three days a week, a Thursday appointment across town, a flight most Fridays. Rather than booking each of those separately, we build the week once and hold it, then adjust by message when something moves. You approve the shape of it; we keep it running.
Familiarity does most of the work. Your chauffeur learns which entrance you actually use rather than the one the map suggests, which junction is hopeless after four o'clock, that the cabin should be warmer than most people ask for, and that the first ten minutes of the morning are for reading rather than talking. None of that is remarkable individually. Together it removes a great deal of small friction.
It also extends beyond driving in the strict sense. Collecting a family member from a station, taking luggage ahead to a hotel, waiting outside a restaurant so nobody stands in the rain, or running an empty leg to bring something you have forgotten are all normal parts of the arrangement rather than exceptions to it.
We keep it flexible on purpose. Some clients hold a chauffeur for two mornings a week, others for full days through a busy season and nothing at all in August. There is no minimum term, and a standing arrangement can be paused entirely while you are abroad for a month. Setting up a standing arrangement
We begin by mapping an ordinary week rather than an ideal one. Which journeys happen every week without fail, which are fortnightly, which move around, and which hours you would want the car held even if nothing is yet in the diary. From that we propose a shape, whether mornings only, two full days or a fixed block each Thursday, and price it against the hours actually reserved rather than the journeys taken.
The common mistake is reserving too little. People book the journeys they can see and then find themselves arranging the rest ad hoc, which defeats the point and usually costs more in the end. It is generally better to hold a slightly wider block and release what you do not use. The second mistake is not telling us about the small recurring errands, which are exactly the things a held car absorbs at no additional cost.
Everything you tell us once is recorded against your arrangement: the gate code that never works, the side entrance that avoids the front desk, the car seat that lives permanently in the boot, the prescription that has to be collected on Fridays. Where a school, a clinic or a managed building has its own procedure for admitting or releasing people, tell us at the outset. It is far better than having a chauffeur discover it at the door on a wet Tuesday.

Lead time and review
Setting up a new arrangement takes a little longer than a single booking, because we are matching a chauffeur to you rather than a car to a journey. Allow a week or so for the first arrangement to settle. After that, individual days move at very short notice: an hour is usually enough to release a morning, and an evening's notice is comfortable for adding one.
September and January are the two months when most new arrangements begin, as school terms and business years restart together, so those are worth arranging a few weeks ahead. We review every standing arrangement periodically, because patterns drift. A meeting moves permanently to Wednesdays, a child changes school, a role changes city. It costs nothing to revise, and an arrangement that no longer fits is worse than none.

The difference is continuity. A standing arrangement means your regular journeys are already in the diary, the same chauffeur covers them wherever possible, and you only ever make contact when something changes rather than to confirm the ordinary.
Yes. Send a message and we will move or release that day. We do ask for as much notice as you can reasonably give, because a chauffeur held for you is a chauffeur not offered elsewhere.
Usually, and we will note your preferred model. Specific model, colour and specification remain subject to availability and booking confirmation, so on occasion we may offer an equivalent or better car for a given day.
This is arranged case by case and discussed properly first, including child seats and who is authorised to receive them. We prefer to set this up carefully in advance rather than treat it as an ordinary booking detail.
