Arrivals & Departures
Southampton Airport is small, quick and unusually civilised, and it happens to sit a short drive from the cruise terminals that bring many of our guests here.
Quoted individually. Share the outline and we reply with a written price — no rate card, no obligation.
The terminal stands at Eastleigh beside the railway, minutes from junction 5 of the M27, and the walk from set-down to check-in is measured in steps rather than corridors. It is one of the least stressful airports in the country to use, and the drive in from Winchester, the New Forest or the coast is short enough to be genuinely pleasant rather than merely tolerable.
Your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a name board and takes the cases out to the car. A good share of our work here connects flights with the cruise terminals in Southampton itself, either collecting a guest who has flown in and driving them to the ship, or the reverse on disembarkation morning. Tell us the berth and the sailing time and we plan around them.
Departures need little lead time, which is part of the appeal, but the M27 and the approach through Eastleigh do slow at rush hour and we allow for it properly. From Winchester or Salisbury the drive is longer than it looks on a map. Your chauffeur collects from the house or hotel, loads the luggage and drops you at the terminal door a few steps from check-in.
The onward journeys here are among the prettiest we run: into the New Forest, west towards Bournemouth and the Dorset coast, north to Winchester and Salisbury, or east to Portsmouth and Chichester. Guests come for regattas on the Solent, for weddings across Hampshire, and for the ships. London is a comfortable run when the flight times make it the sensible option.

Why Luxury Chauffeurs
01
Flight to cabin, or cabin to gate. When both ends have fixed times, the value of the middle bit being handled properly is obvious.
02
There is very little building to cross here, so the ratio changes: the drive is the long part and the terminal the short one. We plan accordingly.
03
Not every route flies from Hampshire. A private airport transfer up to Heathrow or Gatwick is a straightforward couple of hours, and one boot rather than three changes.
04
Unmarked cars, chauffeurs who do not chatter unless you would like them to, and nothing about the arrangement that draws attention at either end.
At a Glance
Set-down sits beside the terminal door. There is no walk, no shuttle and very little standing about.
Flight to ship, or ship to flight. Give us the berth and the sailing time and we plan the day around them.
Lyndhurst, Beaulieu and Brockenhurst are short, lovely drives from the terminal.
Local Knowledge
Arrivals here are among the quickest in the country to clear on a domestic or Channel Islands sector, sometimes only a few minutes between the aircraft door and the front of the building. Your chauffeur waits inside with a name board, which in a hall this size is impossible to miss. European services with hold baggage naturally take longer, and we plan the pickup around the published arrival and the clearance we would ordinarily allow.
Drop-off sits directly outside and is meant for a brief stop, which is all it ever needs to be. Journeys in are the bit to think about: junction 5 of the M27 is the usual way, the M3 brings traffic down from Winchester and Basingstoke, and Eastleigh's own streets grind at school time. Cruise mornings add their own pressure, since a whole ship's worth of passengers heads for the docks within the same couple of hours.
Onward, the geography is kind. Winchester, Salisbury and the New Forest are all comfortable; Bournemouth and the Dorset coast a little further; Portsmouth and the Chichester side eastward. The ferry ports matter too — Southampton for the Isle of Wight and the cruise berths, Portsmouth for the Channel crossings — and each has its own check-in deadline that we work back from. First flights leave early enough that a collection before five is not unusual, and the M27 at that hour is empty.

Four Steps
Chauffeur booking with us is a conversation rather than a checkout. Every journey is priced individually.
01
Send the date, the addresses and the shape of the day on WhatsApp, or use the journey planner. There is no obligation and no card details are taken to get a price.
02
You receive a written quotation covering the vehicle, the timings and everything included — no estimates that move later, and no surge pricing.
03
On confirmation a vehicle and a named professional chauffeur are assigned to your date, and the terms are put in writing.
04
Briefed on the route, the access and the waiting arrangements before the day, so nothing is decided at the kerb.
Included as Standard
Quoted as one price. No hidden extras added at the end of the journey.

Corporate & Business
The business here is marine, defence and technology, spread between Southampton, Fareham, Whiteley and Portsmouth, and much of it involves visitors who arrive for a day and leave the same evening. A car that meets the flight, holds through the meetings and returns to the terminal removes the two most irritating parts of that day: parking and the gap between appointments.
Because the airport's own route map is limited, a fair amount of corporate work is the road leg to Heathrow or Gatwick instead. Those runs are long enough to be worth doing properly — a quiet cabin, a chauffeur who knows which terminal you need, and a written quotation agreed beforehand. Company billing can be arranged, and the whole thing sits with one contact by email or WhatsApp.
Who We Drive
Passengers joining or leaving a ship, for whom the sailing time is immovable and the morning of disembarkation is not the moment to be searching for a taxi.
Regular flyers to Jersey and Guernsey who treat this terminal as a bus stop and want the ground half of the trip to be equally undramatic.
Owners and crews arriving for Cowes Week or a weekend on the water, with kit bags that will not fit sensibly into anything small.
Families in Winchester, Romsey and the villages of the Test valley for whom this is the local airport and the car is simply how one gets there.
Events & Occasions
Cowes Week, the boat show and the racing weekends fill Hampshire with people who have somewhere to be at a particular hour, usually with more luggage than they admitted to. We time those days around the ferry rather than the road, because missing a sailing is a far worse outcome than arriving twenty minutes early at the terminal.
Weddings in the New Forest and along the coast run all summer, and a good number of guests fly in for them. Beyond that, this is a part of the country people visit slowly — a few days at Beaulieu, a run down to Lymington, a cathedral city or two. A car for the day, with the same chauffeur throughout, tends to suit that better than a series of short hops.

Popular Journeys
Quoted door to door as a single movement, including the return leg and any waiting in between.
Timing & Availability
The cruise calendar shapes availability here more than the flight schedule does. Turnaround days, and the summer Saturdays in particular, take the larger vehicles first because the luggage demands them. Add the regatta weeks and the August holidays and the diary tightens quickly. Outside that, midweek travel is usually easy to arrange, sometimes at a day's notice.
If your trip involves a ship, tell us the berth and the boarding window at the outset rather than the address, since that is what the timing is actually built from. For an early flight, we would rather agree the collection the evening before and leave it settled. Dates and details by WhatsApp or email; we will come back with a time and the reasoning behind it.
Professional Chauffeur Standards
What a premium chauffeur service should mean in practice, rather than in a brochure.
Every chauffeur is licensed, insured and vetted before they drive for us. They are briefed on your journey in advance and dressed for the occasion.
Vehicles carry no branding. Your chauffeur speaks when spoken to, and what is discussed in the back of the car stays there.
Current-generation cars, valeted before every journey, with still water and charging in the rear compartment.
The same person handles your enquiry, your quotation and your booking, so nothing is explained twice.

Where We Travel
London is where most of our work begins, but a chauffeur can be arranged to and from any address in the United Kingdom.
Arrivals
Your chauffeur waits inside the terminal with a name board and helps with luggage to the car. Share your flight number and we plan the wait around the published schedule and the usual time to clear immigration and baggage reclaim.
Departures
We work backwards from the check-in time you want to make, allowing for the road, the hour of day and the walk from the drop-off. Cases are carried to the terminal doors, and your chauffeur will wait until you are inside.
Terminals
We are an independent chauffeur service. We hold no official partnership with any airport, terminal operator or fixed base operator. Share your flight number and we will plan your pickup around the published schedule and typical clearance times.
Onward
Journeys we are most often asked to arrange from Southampton Airport.
Long-distance journeys from the airport are quoted door to door, including any waiting time. See long-distance journeys or tell us the destination and we will price it.
