Whitehall, the Strand, the Mall and Charing Cross Road all come together at the square, the National Gallery ranged along its northern side, St Martin-in-the-Fields on the corner, Admiralty Arch pointing down towards the palace. Gallery visitors travel with us here, along with concertgoers at the church, people off trains at Charing Cross, and guests bound for Whitehall or the government buildings behind it. Nearly all of them are working to a fixed start time.

Nothing can arrive on that north terrace before the gallery: it was pedestrianised, and that is the end of it. What we actually use is Duncannon Street, or Orange Street, or St Martin's Place, or William IV Street, none of them further than a short walk off the square. Off the Strand, Charing Cross keeps a forecourt of its own, and it is generally full. The charging zone covers every bit of this. State occasions and demonstrations shut Whitehall, the Mall and the Strand on a regular basis.

Driving east to London City normally comes out at 30 to 50 minutes. Heathrow wants 50 to 90 minutes, out through Westminster or along the Embankment, and Gatwick lands at roughly 65 to 105 minutes. Waterloo is 10 to 20 minutes over the river. For a theatre on the Strand, in St Martin's Lane or on the Haymarket the drive is short, and the last hundred metres always take the longest.

Local Knowledge

Closures, ceremonies and the gallery

Behind the National Gallery runs Orange Street, the sensible set-down for its western entrance and for the Portrait Gallery just round the corner on St Martin's Place. Duncannon Street joins the Strand to the eastern side of the square and does for the church and for Charing Cross. Quieter than either, William IV Street costs only a minute more. An arrival at the terrace steps never enters our planning, because no car gets within sight of them.

Nowhere in London has its roads shut more often than this square mile. State visits, remembrance ceremonies, the New Year, marches down Whitehall and the Mall, the annual Christmas tree lighting: all of them close roads for hours, and sometimes at very short notice. So the date gets checked as we quote, and with a cordon up the meeting point goes outside it, usually towards Covent Garden or the Haymarket, so your walk is away from the closure and not into it.

Why Luxury Chauffeurs

Why Choose Us in Trafalgar Square

  • 01

    Kerbside knowledge

No map tells you where a car may legally stop outside a Mayfair club, or a Knightsbridge store. Yet that single fact decides how an evening actually feels from beginning to end.

  • 02

    Held across the city

Take the car by the block of hours and it sits nearby through each stop, holding coats and shopping so nobody doubles back to fetch anything.

  • 03

    Charges inside the price

Where Congestion Charge and ULEZ apply, both go into the quotation in writing. Cross the centre and the cost matches what you were told at the outset.

  • 04

    Every district covered

Twenty-four London areas each get a page of their own, written round the practical detail that counts locally, not one paragraph recycled under a new heading.

Luxury Vehicles

Choose Your Chauffeur Driven Car

From an executive saloon to a Rolls-Royce. Model, colour and specification are subject to availability and booking confirmation.

Four Steps

How Booking Works

Chauffeur booking with us is a conversation rather than a checkout. Every journey is priced individually.

  1. 01

    Tell us the journey

Message us on WhatsApp with your date, the addresses and roughly how the day looks, or fill in the journey planner instead. Nothing is owed either way, and getting a price asks for no card details at all.

  2. 02

    We quote in writing

Back comes a written quotation setting out the vehicle, the timings and everything included. No estimate that shifts afterwards, and no surge pricing.

  3. 03

    The car is held

Once you confirm, your date has a vehicle against it and a named professional chauffeur, with the terms set down in writing.

  4. 04

    Your chauffeur arrives

Your chauffeur is briefed beforehand on the route, the access and where the waiting happens, so nothing gets decided at the kerb.

Included as Standard

What Every Trafalgar Square Booking Includes

Quoted as one price. No hidden extras added at the end of the journey.

  • Your car kept close by between stops, never sent away
  • Congestion Charge and ULEZ written into the price quoted
  • Coats, bags and the shopping locked away in the boot
  • Pickup points settled beforehand at the busier venues
  • Routes worked out around closures and one-way systems
  • Quiet, unbranded vehicles at every single address
  • A chauffeur who already knows the legal waiting spots
  • Airport connections folded into the same booking

Chauffeur pickups at Trafalgar Square, taken from Duncannon Street or Orange Street, never the terrace.

Corporate & Business

Corporate Travel in the Capital

Meetings spread across the City, Mayfair and Canary Wharf in one morning make a single engagement with pauses in it, not three separate journeys. Hold an executive chauffeur for the block and the car carries your papers, your coats and a second suit. It absorbs the meeting that runs forty minutes long. Remaining stops simply shift, with nobody rebooking a thing. Corporate chauffeur work earns its keep right there.

Financial roadshows sharpen all of this to a point. Several vehicles. A fixed run of addresses. A schedule that will have changed twice before lunch. Coordination happens centrally, every chauffeur gets briefed on the identical plan, and one thread stays open for amendments, so whoever is running the day talks to a single contact instead of to a whole fleet. Conference and delegation movements go the same route.

Who We Drive

Who Travels with Us

  • London residents

Londoners who own a car and hardly ever take it into the centre, preferring to be driven on any evening that comes with a dress code attached.

  • Hotel guests

Guests based in the West End or Belgravia, after a single arrangement that covers dinners, meetings, shopping and the airport run at the finish.

  • City professionals

Bankers, lawyers, advisers shuttling between the City, Canary Wharf and Mayfair on days when somebody has left the diary no slack in it whatsoever.

  • Families in town

Households juggling school runs, appointments and weekend plans, who would far sooner see one familiar chauffeur than a fresh stranger every time.

Events & Occasions

Evenings, Dining and Shopping

It is the last twenty minutes that make or ruin a London evening. Curtains come down at the same moment right across the West End, restaurants empty in waves, and the street outside becomes the single worst place in the city to go looking for a car. Agree a pickup point a short walk away beforehand and the problem disappears. Your chauffeur is in position before you have finished with your coats.

Shopping days run on the same principle. Bond Street, Sloane Street and the Knightsbridge stores sit close enough to walk between, and quite impossible to walk between while carrying anything. Bags go into the car after every stop, which is what separates a pleasant afternoon from an endurance event. Restaurant reservations, private views and gallery evenings all slot into the same held booking.

Airport chauffeur transfers from Trafalgar Square

Airport Transfers

Trafalgar Square to London City Airport

Figure 30 to 50 minutes, traffic in the mix

Inside the terminal, a name board goes up and your chauffeur waits with it, then carries the bags to the car. Give us a flight number and the collection is planned around the published schedule and how long clearing normally takes. Departures run the other way. We start at the check-in you want to make and count backwards, leaving room for the road and the hour of day.

Timing & Availability

Hours, Traffic and Booking

Traffic in London is predictable enough to plan around, and far too variable to ignore. Two windows reshape a schedule: weekday mornings heading into the centre, and the long crawl outward from four until seven. Our quoted timings reflect those, not what a mapping application shows on a quiet Sunday. Evening runs and weekends open up considerably by comparison. Airport legs are the ones most worth padding.

Nowhere else in the country holds availability as deep as the capital, which is why short-notice requests frequently work, same day included. Exceptions are the obvious ones. December evenings. Days carrying a major sporting or state occasion. Any Saturday through the wedding season. On those dates, book once the date is set rather than waiting for the week itself to arrive.

Professional Chauffeur Standards

The Standard We Hold

What a premium chauffeur service should mean in practice, rather than in a brochure.

  • Vetted professional chauffeurs

Before anyone drives for us they are licensed, insured and vetted. Ahead of the day your chauffeur reads the journey through, and turns up dressed for the occasion.

  • Discretion by default

No branding appears on the cars. Your chauffeur speaks when spoken to, and whatever gets said behind the front seats goes no further.

  • Immaculate vehicles

Cars of the current generation, valeted ahead of each journey, still water and charging in the rear compartment.

  • One point of contact

One person takes your enquiry, writes the quotation and sees the booking through, so you never explain anything twice.
