Chauffeur Service Raynes Park
Raynes Park is the quieter side of SW20, a residential grid between Wimbledon and New Malden that moves easily until the tennis arrives.

Split by the railway and defined by the wedge where the Kingston and Epsom lines part, Raynes Park is calm, green and largely made of family houses. Grand Drive and the roads towards West Barnes run north from the station, while the Wimbledon end shades gradually into Merton Park and the common. The people we drive are usually commuters who have decided an early flight is not worth the train, along with families heading out of London for a weekend.
Coombe Lane is the road that carries everything, and it is at its slowest where it meets the A3 and again by the station bridge. The residential turnings either side give plenty of room to wait, and we normally agree a collection point away from the junction. Bushey Road has fast-moving traffic and few safe places to pause. Weekday parking controls apply near the station, so the car sits in a legal bay close by rather than idling outside your door.
Heathrow is typically 35 to 55 minutes, most often by the A3 north and then west, though a run through Kingston to the A308 can be kinder on a bad morning. Gatwick is roughly 50 to 80 minutes, using the A3 to the M25 or heading south on the A24. Central London is a 35 to 60 minute journey. For the south coast the A3 is a few minutes away and gives a clean start once past Tolworth.

Local Knowledge
Almost every journey out of Raynes Park begins on Coombe Lane, which climbs west towards Coombe and the A3 or drops east into Wimbledon. Getting on to the A3 northbound is straightforward, but the return southbound in the evening is not, and the queue can reach a long way back before the junction. The station bridge is a further pinch point at school times. For a firm departure we normally leave from the residential side and join the A3 rather than crossing Wimbledon.
The tennis fortnight changes the character of the area entirely. Raynes Park sits on the approach for a good deal of Wimbledon traffic, and the roads towards Church Road, Somerset Road and the common carry far more than usual from mid-morning onwards. Event parking controls extend well beyond the ground itself. We plan those days with a wider margin, set down away from the restricted streets, and where a schedule is genuinely tight we will say so before you commit to it.
Why Luxury Chauffeurs
01
Where a car may legally stop outside a Mayfair club or a Knightsbridge store is not obvious from a map, and it decides how an evening actually feels.
02
Book the car for a block of hours and it waits nearby between stops, carrying coats and shopping rather than sending you back for them.
03
Congestion Charge and ULEZ where they apply are written into the quotation, so a journey across the centre costs what you were told it would.
04
Twenty-four London areas have their own page, each with the practical detail that matters there rather than the same paragraph under a different name.

Four Steps
Chauffeur booking with us is a conversation rather than a checkout. Every journey is priced individually.
01
Send the date, the addresses and the shape of the day on WhatsApp, or use the journey planner. There is no obligation and no card details are taken to get a price.
02
You receive a written quotation covering the vehicle, the timings and everything included — no estimates that move later, and no surge pricing.
03
On confirmation a vehicle and a named professional chauffeur are assigned to your date, and the terms are put in writing.
04
Briefed on the route, the access and the waiting arrangements before the day, so nothing is decided at the kerb.
Included as Standard
Quoted as one price. No hidden extras added at the end of the journey.

Corporate & Business
A morning of meetings across the City, Mayfair and Canary Wharf is not three journeys, it is one engagement with pauses in it. An executive chauffeur held for the block keeps papers, coats and a second suit in the car, absorbs the meeting that runs forty minutes long, and moves the remaining stops without anybody rebooking anything. That is where corporate chauffeur work earns its keep.
Financial roadshows are the sharpest version of this. Several vehicles, a fixed sequence of addresses, and a schedule that will change twice before lunch. We coordinate those centrally, brief every chauffeur on the same plan, and keep one thread open for changes so the person running the day speaks to one contact rather than to a fleet. Conference and delegation movements are handled identically.
Who We Drive
People who live here, keep a car they rarely use in the centre, and would rather be driven for the evenings that involve a dress code.
Visitors staying in the West End or Belgravia who want one arrangement covering dinners, meetings, shopping and the airport run at the end.
Bankers, lawyers and advisers moving between the City, Canary Wharf and Mayfair on days where the diary has been left no slack at all.
Households with school runs, appointments and weekend plans, who far prefer the same familiar chauffeur to a different stranger each time.
Events & Occasions
London evenings are made or ruined by the last twenty minutes. Theatre curtains fall at the same moment across the West End, restaurants empty in waves, and the street outside is the worst place in the city to be looking for a car. A pre-agreed pickup point a short walk away solves that entirely, and your chauffeur is in position before you have finished your coats.
Shopping days work on the same principle. Bond Street, Sloane Street and the Knightsbridge stores are close enough together to walk and impossible to walk between while carrying anything. The car takes bags after each stop, which is the difference between an enjoyable afternoon and an endurance event. Restaurant reservations, private views and gallery evenings slot into the same held booking.

Airport Transfers
Typically 35 to 55 minutes depending on traffic
Your chauffeur waits inside the terminal with a name board and helps with luggage to the car. Share a flight number and we plan the pickup around the published schedule and typical clearance times. For departures we work backwards from the check-in you want to make, allowing for the road and the hour of day.

Timing & Availability
London traffic is predictable enough to plan around and too variable to ignore. Weekday mornings into the centre and the long crawl outward from four until seven are the two windows that reshape a schedule, and we quote timings that reflect them rather than a mapping application on a quiet Sunday. Evening runs and weekends are considerably freer, and airport legs are the ones most worth padding.
Availability in the capital is deeper than anywhere else in the country, so short-notice requests are frequently workable, even the same day. The exceptions are the obvious ones: December evenings, the days of a major sporting or state occasion, and any Saturday in the wedding season. For those, book when the date is set rather than when the week finally arrives.
Professional Chauffeur Standards
What a premium chauffeur service should mean in practice, rather than in a brochure.
Every chauffeur is licensed, insured and vetted before they drive for us. They are briefed on your journey in advance and dressed for the occasion.
Vehicles carry no branding. Your chauffeur speaks when spoken to, and what is discussed in the back of the car stays there.
Current-generation cars, valeted before every journey, with still water and charging in the rear compartment.
The same person handles your enquiry, your quotation and your booking, so nothing is explained twice.
