Up on Shoot Up Hill you will find Kilburn station on the Jubilee line; Kilburn High Road station is a fair walk south along the A5, and visitors who do not know the area pick the wrong one often enough that we always ask. Once you tell us, we describe the exact spot the car will be standing in. Neither has a forecourt worth using at peak. So a side street usually settles it: Kingsgate Road for the High Road station, Willesden Lane for the Jubilee line.

From mid-morning through to late evening the A5 in Kilburn crawls, and it worsens whenever the theatre end of the road has something on. Airport runs therefore leave by Willesden Lane and the A404, or head north to the A406, rather than spend a mile stuck on the High Road.
