The A452 Europa Way links the town to M40 junction 13 and is the route most departures take. It carries the retail traffic for the shopping park on that side and slows from late morning at weekends, so a Saturday airport run is planned differently from a Tuesday one. Northbound, the A46 towards Coventry and the M42 is the airport road, and it stiffens around the Stoneleigh and Tollbar junctions during the evening peak.

In town, the pinch is the river. Victoria Bridge and Adelaide Bridge carry almost everything between the north and south halves, and works on either turn a five-minute crossing into twenty. Race meetings at Warwick pull traffic through both towns on the A425, and the Parade closes outright for the food festival and similar occasions.
