Vehicle requests come from very different places. Sometimes it is a photograph the whole occasion has been planned around. Sometimes it is a company travel policy naming an acceptable class. Sometimes it is simply that somebody has sat in a particular car before, liked it, and would like that again. All three are reasonable, and all three deserve a straight answer rather than a category name.
The honest position is that a specific model can very often be secured, and that the certainty depends on how far ahead you ask, how unusual the car is, and what else is happening on that date. Here is how a request is actually checked, and what tends to be fixed against what tends to be indicative.
What we can normally hold
The mainstream chauffeur models are the straightforward ones. Flagship German saloons, the executive class beneath them and the luxury MPVs used for larger parties are worked with daily, and a named model in those categories can generally be confirmed for a specific date with reasonable notice. Once agreed, it is written into your quotation as the vehicle rather than as a suggestion.
Prestige and ultra-luxury cars work differently. Individual examples are limited, they are committed early for weddings and events, and they are not interchangeable in the way a saloon fleet is. A request for one of those is a genuine check against a specific car on a specific day rather than an allocation from a pool, which is why the answer occasionally takes a little longer to give.
What is harder to guarantee
Colour is the request we are most often asked to promise and the one we are least able to. Individual cars are individual cars, and a particular finish may simply not exist within reach of your date. We would far rather tell you that at the enquiry than have you discover it on a wedding morning, so ask early and let us check.
Model year, interior trim and optional specification sit in the same category. Two cars of the same model can differ noticeably inside, and a vehicle supplied through one of the operators we work with may be specified differently from our own. Where a particular detail genuinely matters to you, name it explicitly and we will confirm it or tell you plainly that we cannot.
- The marque and model, which is usually confirmable for a set date
- The vehicle class, which is fixed in the quotation either way
- Exterior colour, which depends on the individual car available
- Model year and interior trim, which vary between examples
- Optional equipment such as rear screens or a panoramic roof

How to make the request work
Ask early, and say why the car matters. A model requested because it is comfortable over three hours can often be met with something better suited than the one you named. A model requested because it appears in a photograph the whole day is built around is a different brief, and we will treat it as one rather than offering a sensible substitute you did not want.
Vehicles come from our own cars and from a vetted network of professional chauffeur operators, which is what makes a real choice of marque possible across the country. It also means the answer for a given date is a genuine check rather than a guess. Whatever is agreed appears in the written quotation, so the car you have been promised is the car described in the booking.
